Refund Policy
Customer satisfaction is at the top of the list at Snap Perfumes. We realize that things do not go as planned all the time and, therefore, make sure that the refund process is clear and seamless. Below, you can read the refund policy in detail with the procedures, eligibility criteria, and time required for processing.
1. Eligibility Criteria for Refund
Refunds are given under the following circumstances:
Damaged or Defective Products: If your item is damaged, defective, or has a manufacturing flaw upon delivery, you qualify for a full refund or replacement.
Incorrect Items: If the product delivered does not match what you ordered or does not represent your order description, you are qualified for a full refund or replacement.
Change of Mind: If you have just changed your mind, we can offer refunds for unused products returned within 7 days of delivery. It should be returned in its original condition and packaging to qualify for a refund.
2. Refund Process
Please follow these steps to initiate a refund:
Contact Customer Support: Contact our customer support team within 7 days of receiving your order. Your order number and a brief description of the reason for the refund request should accompany your message.
Return the Product: If your request is accepted, you have to return the product in the original packaging, unused. If there are damaged or defective items, we may require photographs of the product and the packaging.
Inspection of Returned Item: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to confirm it meets the conditions for a refund (unused, in original packaging, and/or damaged). We will notify you once the refund has been processed.
Refund Issuance: Once approved, the refund will be issued in the same payment method used for the original purchase (e.g., credit card, PayPal). Please allow us 24-48 hours to process the refund request.
3. Refund Timing
Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 24-48 hours of receiving and inspecting the returned product. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been approved and processed.
Bank Processing Time: Please note once we issue the refund, it could take up to 7 business days for the amount to appear in the bank or the payment account. This is based on the bank or payment provider's timelines to process.
4. Options for a Refund
Full Refund: When the item is damaged, defective, or an incorrect item altogether, you are allowed a full refund of the product price.
Partial Refund: We can issue a partial refund if the item is returned in a condition other than original (e.g., opened packaging, missing parts), based on the product's condition.
Replacement: In cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect items, you can opt for a replacement instead of a refund. Please indicate your preference when you contact our customer support.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Damaged or Defective Products: If you received a damaged or defective product, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item for a return shipping label.
Change of Mind or Wrong Order: If you are returning an item due to a change of mind or an incorrect order (e.g., incorrect size/color chosen), you will be responsible for the return shipping fees.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not returnable:
Used or Opened Products: Any products that have been used or opened, except in the case where they are faulty or damaged upon delivery.
Customized or Personalized Items: Any product that is customized, engraved, or personalized according to your specifications
Gift Cards and Digital Products: For security purposes, we cannot return gift cards, downloadable products, or any digital content
7. Special Considerations
Product Condition: Refunds or replacements will be done only when the product has not been used, is packed in original boxes, and can be resold (except that the product may be defective or damaged).
Returns Refund Refunds will only be made in terms of product price and shall not include shipping unless the item happens to be defective or incorrect.
Return Window Within 7 days of delivery is when the refund request should have been initiated for a refund to be processed.
